Studio Apartment
Light and sunny, our newly-converted studio apartment is spacious and modern, with a well-appointed kitchen and tastefully furnished living/sleeping area.
Throw open the French doors out to the garden and relax in garden chairs to bask in the sunshine and enjoy the spectacular and breathtaking views over towards the Lauberhorn valley and the surrounding mountain region. After a hard day of skiing or hiking there could be nothing better than surveying the mountains you have got to know better and are ready to attack again the following day. The impressive view from the studio terrace will make you linger longer than you planned.
The studio has a fully equipped, modern kitchen with marble surface tops and ceramic hotplate and is well stocked with crockery and cooking utensils. For quick and easy suppers, there is also a fondue set, encouraging you to make you own fondue cheese mix from the local cheeses on offer in the village. The pine-tabled eating area provides a cosy setting to enjoy your meals, play games and plan the next day’s outing.
To set the scene a radio and CD player has also been provided for your use, together with a selection of music CDs. There are also a number of books in the apartment in both English and German for your enjoyment.
The comfortable and sturdy sofa-bed is easy to pull out to create a king-size double bed and to revert to a sofa for comfortable reading. Although there is no television in the studio, sets can be rented from the audio-visual shop in the village and a DVD rental shop has recently set up business in the village.
The traditionally decorated, spacious shower room has a separate WC and large shower stall with powerful shower.
The entrance hall to the studio provides ample room for ski and ski boot storage as well as an adequate area for hanging jackets and skiwear. Within the studio apartment is a large cupboard with hanging space for clothes and there is also a separate storage area for bags and cases.
The studio apartment also offers an excellent solution for family groups who are staying in the top floor apartment in the chalet, and who would like to have a separate living/sleeping area available for grandparents, au-pairs etc.
Please note that the studio is non-smoking and that pets are not permitted.
